Fenix TK30 Torch can be powered by 2 x CR123 lithium batteries, 1 x 18650 Li - ion rechargeable battery, or, with the supplied extension tube fitted can be driven by 4 x CR123 batteries, or 2 x 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries for increased performance in both output and run time.
Fenix TK30 offers three modes of operation. Mode A (Searching mode), Mode B (Camping mode), and mode C (Hunting mode). Each mode of output features two light levels. Loosen head slightly for first level, tighten head for second level. To switch between modes a quick double twist of the head is all that's required, tightening and loosening twice to move to the next mode.
Output levels with 2 x CR123 batteries:
- Mode A - 100 lumens / 5 hrs : 370 lumens / 1 hr
- Mode B - 12 lumens / 30 hrs :175 lumens / 2.7 hrs
- Mode C - Strobe / 2 hrs :370 lumens / 1 hr
Output levels with 2 X 2500 mah 18650 Li-ion batteries:
- Mode A - 100 lumens / 16 hrs :630 lumens / 1.5 hrs
- Mode B - 12 lumens / 90 hrs :175 lumens / 8.4 hrs
- Mode C - Strobe / 3 hrs :630 lumens / 1.5 hrs
